I’ve just released a new and improved version of my µTorrent Web UI for iPhone.

As you know, a new version of uTorrent was released recently (uTorrent 2.0). I’ve upgraded it on my PC to version 2.0 and made sure that my Web UI for iPhone was compatible with it. It was working great and I’ve released a tiny update (1.4).

However when you install a new and clean installation of uTorrent 2.0 it comes with a newer version of Web UI and I’ve just discovered it (thank you Kevin ). I’ve run some tests and fixed some minor issues and now releasing a version fully compatible with uTorrent 2.0

It’s also possible now to specify torrent label. Just click on the label field at Torrent Properties page and a pop up will appear where you can set a new label. To remove label specify empty value.

I use Windows Live Writer to write articles for my blog. It’s a very popular tool among other bloggers. Very often I find myself adding the same piece of content to different posts. In the beginning I was just going back to the original post, copying the text that I need and paste it to the new post. I did not like the idea of doing it all the time (waste of time and too much effort). So I’ve decided to create a plug-in that will do this for me – organize my snippets in one place and allow me to add it into any post very quickly.

  You can download the plug-in DLL from below and copy it to the Live Writer plug-ins folder usually found at C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Writer\Plugins

  Download the DLL file (48KB): WLWSnippetsManager(1.0).zip

Restart the Live Write application and you will see it in the Insert menu list.

In case you’re running the RC version of Windows 7, then you already know (at least you should) that starting March 1, 2010 your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Your work will not be saved during the shutdown. It will fully expired on June 1, 2010.

It means that you should install a new version of Windows 7. But what will happen with all your applications and their settings. You can use existing Windows tools to transfer the essential components (files, photos, music, videos, documents and your account).

In addition, you can and should use the Import and Export Wizard for Windows Live Writer. It will easily help you to export all the current settings. After installing the new OS you will run it again and import the settings again.

• Full compatibility with new µTorrent client 2.0
• Increased performance in app loading (around 80%). Will be especially noticed on low speed networks.
